FILMMAKER-PHOTOGRAPHER, SURFER, CYCLING TRIPS GUIDE, ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER - HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA

"I grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia and started surfing at a young age, developing a passion for the outdoors. When I was 18, I left school to go on a solo adventure to Nepal for 4 months and ever since I haven't been able to keep still, exploring whenever and wherever possible. Fortunately, I've been able to do so with Freewheeling Adventures, guiding cycling trips and creating promotional videos in exotic locations around the world. During the winters, I work on surf photography and as an elementary school teacher in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The kids teach me how to keep life fun and light, they are really good at letting their emotions come and go and not getting to caught up in the moment, something I value and hope to imitate. As a substitute teacher, I believe one of my main jobs is to make sure the kids are stoked, and so to do this, I have to be stoked. Imagine leaving your job everyday absolutely one hundred percent stoked... it's fun :) The summer months are always busy, I'm looking forward to upcoming trips in Norway and Finland, stay tuned for some imagery."
